Junior Firefighter Membership Drive
The Altamont Fire Company is seeking 16 and 17 year olds to volunteer as
Junior Firefighters. Junior Firefighters perform limited firefighting and
rescue duties at emergency scenes and also participate in other company
events. Interested individuals must reside in West Mahanoy Township or Frackville.
There is no cost to participate in the program and volunteer
hours satisfy school community service requirements. For information,
email altamontfire@hotmail.com, stop by the firehouse on Wednesdays at
6:30PM, or call 874-7238.
